Refrigeration and the Environment
The UK Currently imports large quantities or refrigeration from China and Europe, most of this refrigeration is filled with a refrigerant gas, which is considered to both harm the climate by contributing to global warming.
The refrigeration trade continue to promulgate this product as CFC free and to some extent this is true! However the gas still is a contributor to environmental problem's and is not HFC Free, hence it should be replaced.
For over 20 years, hydrocarbon gases have been used in Domestic refrigeration with such leaders a Bosch in Germany. In 1996 the gas was first launched with a UK manufacturer and proved successful, but with cheaper foreign inputs it found it difficult to be competitive.
Our mission at UK Cooler Market is to revive the hydrocarbon technology and harness this with leading edge products which are value for money and competitive in the market.
All out products are currently on conventional R134A, we can however offer our total range in R600 totally environmentally friendly refrigerant. We are committed to work with the trade to instigate this new gas with with out major customers.
To achieve this, we are partnering with Earthcare Products Ltd, specialist consultants in the use of natural and Not In Kind (NIK) refrigerant technologies which eliminate emissions of high global warming gases and improve energy efficiency. Earthcare has patent protection on new low global warming refrigerants which could achieve a 13% reduction in global warming, by introducing disruptive technologies to the global refrigerant market of 132 Earth Care Products.
We intend to lead the market offering our units at competitive prices and with the latest technology in terms of helping the environment with R600A filled units which gas is benign and does not contribute to destruction of the Ozone layer or global warming.
Furthermore products using our gas are likely to be up to 18% more efficient than conventional R134A units and have less wear on components such as compressors giving our products a longer life. Also due to the unique filling of our units and testing for leak integrity we are confident that there are less leaks of refrigerant.
